Brief Vita
Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, Oklahoma State University. Licensed architect in Pennsylvania and Oklahoma. Private practice since 1993 as Bilbeisi Architects; Project Designer, Ballinger Architects, Philadelphia 1989-1993. Visiting Professor at the Middle East Technical University in Ankarra, Turkey in 1998. Faculty of the School of Architecture since 1993.

Centennial Chair, 2013-2017; Third Dan Black Belt, TaeKwonDo, 2012; CEAT Outstanding Advisor Award, 2011; OSU Regents Distinguished Teaching Award, 2006, member of the faculty team awarded the 2004 NCARB Prize; National ACSA/AIA Young Teacher Award, 1998; AIA NCOC President, 1998, Halliburton Excellent Young Teacher, 1996; Dean’s Outstanding Graduate Award, AIA School Medal, and Alpha Rho Chi Medal from OSU in 1988.

Suzanne was recently named the OSU School of Architecture Centennial Chair.

Areas of Interest
The methods and means of teaching beginning design students; the history of western architecture and its’ influence on contemporary western architecture.
