Current scholarship centers on design, practice, and project delivery in architecture, with a particular focus on the role of real estate expertise and entrepreneurship in the profession and the production of the built environment.
Design Studio. Real Estate Development and Finance, which introduces senior level students to real estate with an emphasis on the multi-faceted role of the architect in the industry. Key topics include market research, site selection, finance, valuation, and investment analysis. Entrepreneurship and Architecture, a course exploring the role of entrepreneurship in the production of the built environment, jointly offered with the OSU School of Entrepreneurship.
